Hello,

I am new on this forum!

Last weekend I've bought a Power Mac G5 early, type A1047. What are my plans? I want to build a fast system in the Power Mac G5 case, without any cosmetic changes. So I need to find a way to put my motherboard connections to the Power Mac G5 back i/o panel. I've got a MSI P45 NEO2fr motherboard. (full ATX)

For the front buttons I've found already a lay-out: http://imageshack.us/f/396/g5frontpanelwiringdiagr.jpg/

So, do you guys know a way to connect my motherboard connections to the original powermac G5 back? without changing the outside?

Hi

One way is to just make cable extensions, another is to utilise the original g5 logic board back panel connectors and another way that I haven't seen done before would be to create a PCB that is basically an extension for the required sockets.
