Thanks a lot! It did help! Though there are few issues like bluetooth "dies" and no HDMI until fresh restart. I am using magic mouse and ASUS VK246H as well as one of the Toshiba's TVs for HDMI external displays. Just for information with fresh restart both display and TV work perfectly for mirroring and extending desktop. As well as magic mouse works with full support of gestures and multitouch. In sleep mode on battery it lives for about 14 hours, which is very nice, now, as I use this hackintosh both for work and home pleasure, I mostly just put it to sleep instead of shutting it down, while travelling from A to B. If there's a chance to defeat issues with bluetooth and hdmi...oh I wish there is =) Otherwise bkribbs, you are awesome!!) Thanks a lot!

bkribbs wrote: Have you tried resetting BIOS? Hi, I'm getting the same issues. Cannot resume from sleep. Always a KP and restart restart required. What do you mean by resetting BIOS? I've gone in to BIOS by pressing ESC at HP logo during boot, selected reset BIOS security settings, saving and restarting.. is this what you meant?

Nope, it means to reset settings to default\factory settings. Try searching it somewhere in BIOS, they certainly should be somewhere =)

No good I'm afraid.
After sleep, it appears to resume fine. Can use the laptop normally. But after 30 seconds.. KP. Have to hold the power button down to turn it off, then boot up again.

Do you have proper files from this topic? viewtopic.php?f=259&t=41546And did you run installation with right dsdt, kexts etc? This is important, make sure you choose right configuration during installation. It seem there's something wrong due to KP, It won't panic if kexts and dsdt are ok. Also, I wonder, are you using 10.7.3 retail?

Also, I wonder, are you using 10.7.3 retail? I installed the latest HP Probook Installer. Previously I made the mistake of selecting all BIOS versions when running the installer. So I re-ran it (about a fortnight ago) and installed the correct BIOS version and opted to remove old kexts. This seemed to resolve it, but only intermittently. Previously, resuming from sleep would result in an immediate KP. Now, it's sometimes fine, but most of the time gives a KP about 30 secs after resuming from sleep. Lion installation was 10.7 from App Store, updated to 10.7.3 using the link in the OP of the thread you linked to.

Can you please post here your DSDT? Probably bkribbs could look it througj? I would also recommend go through extras and etc. to get reed of junk files like unused kexts. I would also recommend to try kext utility, it will clean some 'dead' kexts. Otherwise there's nothing really I can do, as you know it's hard to mend through the Web

I can't find anything else but then I really don't know what I'm looking for. Anyway, thanks for your help.

You should boot with DSDT=no and then extract a new DSDT and THAT one post it here.
